i fail to see how a 57 contact vs. righties and a 63 contact vs. lefties is justified at all when he hit .203 against righties last year and .218 against lefties. anyone hitting below .220 definitely does not deserve a 60 in contact, let alone a 55.

David Ortiz needs a big decrease in his contact. And I mean BIG, anything above 65 vs rightys is rediculous. His D at 1B should be brought up a pretty large amount and his arm should be high too, he threw out what's his name in the WS afterall.

Looking over once more... I'd say Chris Burke's contact talent should be a bit higher. He's one of the top specs in the nation for a reason. I think he's quite a bit faster and better at stealing than 65's. His range could stand to be higher, too.

Joe Mauer
+ Power (Overall)
He's more devloped than that. He hit 6 homeruns last season in 35 games. At that pace, in 135 games, he'd hit 23 home runs.
+Discipline/Eye (Overall)
He had an OBP of .373 last season.
+ Gap (Overall)
He had 8 2B last season. At that pace, in 135 games, he'd have 31 walks.
Basically, he's a ton more developed than what the game gives him credit for.
Jesse Crain
+ Control (Overall)
He had a WHIP of 1.07 in 27 innings last season.

Another random bitch: Chad Qualls is better than his talent, but even if he didn't get a boost, he needs to be a lot more developed.
And Astacio should be closer to his talent. The talk right now is, with his good spring, he'll be in our rotation soon.
Also, just to help Oakland, Huston Street needs WAY more endurance. He'd throw 3 to 4 innings almost every night at UT.

Ben Sheets deserves a boost in control. Doug Davis deserves a boost in stuff.

Oliver Perez needs his fucking slider or I'm gonna stab someone. He also deserves more movement talent and overall.
Jimmy Rollins deserves a lot higher gap. *reminisces about the inside the parker last year and smiles* Don't forget about his 43 doubles and 12 triples. So it needs to be a lot higher.

Jeff Francis talent level for his stuff seems a bit low to me (75).
Help the newbie out, isn't stuff most relational to k's?

Stuff = K's and hits.
I wouldn't know about him since he's a prospect on Colorado, a team I pay 0 mind to.

Eli Marrero (KC) should have some range at catcher, since he's played there for a good portion of his career. He was probably average defensively there.

Alex Sanchez's range should be brought down. Mmm... missreads. And what's up with Travis Lee? Is he on roids? Bring down his contact. Brazelton's control should be brought up some. Upton's power should be brought down... I've never read anything about him being a power hitter. Josh Phelps should get some range at catcher, but he sucks at it. Mike Sweeney should get some more power.
