if you feel a player's ratings should be either inflated or deflated then post thier name here and give a reason why.
what i don't want to hear is what you think the ratings should be. that is for me to determine. if you post what you think a player's ratings should be then i will automatically ignore your post. (edit: yikes, that sounds kinda harsh. anyway i guess you can suggest what the ratings should but just keep them realistic)
also, keep an eye out for wrong info on a player profile. age, height, weight and posistion. another thingkk to look out for is player injury rating. griffey jr. was rated normal and i had to change it so if he was wrong then there wil be others that are wrong.
lastly, if you want your roster adjusted (lineup, rotation, etc.) PM me those changes. do not post them here.
that is all.

Remember to reset all injurys.
Eric Chavez needs a small decrese in power and contact talent, no more than 5 in each. I know you said don't say how much but anything more than 5 would be pushing it.
Nick Johnson needs a large decrese in eye and an increase in contact (overall and talent).
Ryan Madson needs an increase in endurace, he was a starter in his minor league career but since the Phillies rotation is packed he was forced to be a reliever last year.
Ryan Howard deserves an increase in overall power. He broke HR records throughout AA and AAA last year and it wouldn't be possible with the current ratings he is at.
Chase Utley needs range at 1B, he played it some in the minors and all through spring training with good proficiency.
Todd Pratt deserves an increase in eye overall and talent. Batting .258 and a .349 isn't very plausible with 65 eye.
Jimmy Rollins deserves an increase in contact talent, he's doing a whole lot better with the new hitting coach. And an increase in his infield arm and running speed, I've seen some of the most amazing plays at SS by him.
Marlon Byrd deserves a slight increase in his contact talent. I believe he's batting over .330 this spring.
Cory Lidle deserves an increase in his movement talent and overall, and an increase in his ground ball %. It's basically why the Phillies signed him, he keeps the ball down.
Randy Wolf deserves an increase in movement. Just an overall solid pitcher, doesn't let up a lot of homeruns.
Billy Wagner deserves a small increase in control. 48.1 innings, 6 walks, 'nuff said.
Kerry Wood needs an increase in stuff and a decrease in control.
That's all I really saw but I don't know much about many different teams, at least the guys who aren't big names.

injuries have been reset and players have been remowved from the DL.
i also ran the CPU on all teams for the sake of balancing out the minor league rosters.

Thanks for adjusting Edwin to a SP. I still think his control needs increasing, but meh. I'm fine if you don't fix it.

higher speed and range for Wily Taveras, probably a bit higher in the contact area
Quintero's overall ratings should be much closer to his talent ratings
More power for Lamb
Higher speed and contact for Everett
Higher contact and power for Berkman, and his ratings against lefties should be higher(he's done a lot better against them in recent years)
Lane needs higher power
Backe needs higher stuff/movement talent-wise, and his batting numbers need to be higher(came up as a 2B, hit pretty well last year)
I'd say Carlos Hernandez needs a tad more control, but not much.
Harville's velocity should be 95.
Luke Scott(in AA) is starting in LF tonight... He had a monster spring, so he's clearly ready. I'd say his contact should be quite a bit higher than 52, and he should be close to his talent.
My one HUGE complaint is on Oswalt, though... He needs to be a lot higher in everything... Also, he needs his effin curveball, since that is by far his best pitch. Velocity should be around 97, since he hit that A LOT last year.
...Damn, that's a lot of bitching.
Edit: Buchholz has been one of our top pitching specs for a while. He should definitely have much better talent ratings.

Oh, and Burke has done a lot of work in LF and 3B, so add that in.

1. I need more money. The Mariners signed Sexson/Beltre because they could afford to pay them, and I can't afford to do that. They are the only team in a few states in that area, so I'd assume their market would be bigger, hence more money.
Actually a lot of team could use more money...using current numbers, after this year, the Yankees will be 60 million in debt
2. Olivo has played 2 years in the Majors. I think he should be closer to his talents (in contact/avoid K)
3. Beltre has an SS rating in the other leagues, so I assume he's played there before. 20 range+.955pct is fine with me. and perhaps +5 to arm
4. I wish Lopez or Betancourt were more ready....
5. Make Pokey Reese serviceable...as in 50 contact
6. Ichiro can play all 3 OF spots....add CF at least.
7. While I don't mind....Moyer should make more than $0 lol...2 million sounds good.
2. Ramon Santiago was considered for the starting job IRL...better ratings and maybe talents if possible.
8. Rafael Soriano was dominant during his stints in the Majors, including some starts. His ratings should be higher, and his endurance as well.
9. Jeremy Reed is the starting CF, a few more points in his ratings would be nice.

Torii Hunter
+ Speed + Stealing Ability + Baserunning Instincts
He was 8th in the AL in SB last year and had a .75 SB%, better than Chone Figgins and Brian Roberts (who are both rated much higher). He deserves much higher ratings than he currently has.
+ Fielding Percent
Current (.976) is well below his career average (.991)
Jacque Jones
+ Power
Hit 24 home runs last year, and 27 3 years ago.
More to come

I think that harden needs a control boost. hes only got a 45 in the game, but he was much more consistent than that in real life last season, especially at then end.
Swisher really should get a large power boost, in talent and actual ratings. he hit 29 homers in AAA last year.

Bret Boone's field pct should be like .985, not .930
Why is Craig Biggio nearly as good as Beltran?

Ramon Santiago was considered for the starting job IRL...better ratings and maybe talents if possible. 8. Rafael Soriano was dominant during his stints in the Majors, including some starts. His ratings should be higher, and his endurance as well. 9. Jeremy Reed is the starting CF, a few more points in his ratings would be nice. while its not really my place to comment on the suggestions, the fact that you are making them about my team, i can't help but cringe at the inaccuracies, and give in to the desire to tear these to shreds. forgive me, but it is my duty. here we go. 1. i see no reason why you should get more money. The mariners in previous years have been running so that they would make a profit. The drop in fans from last year due to their struggles caused them to change their philosophy. All off-season they made it known they were willing to operate at a loss for the year in order to put a winning team on the field. There's no reason why you should take away from the reality of what the team did just to make you a little happier. If you think the payroll is too high, cut some salary. 2. Olivo is still a young player. Given the stats he put up last year, his contact is probably right where it should be. You have a case for his power, but really no case in the other stats. 3. nothing worth arguing as its a rather irrelevent change. 4. Considering Lopez's stats from last year, and his current ratings, he's about where he should be. Players gotta develop in the game. It can't all just be handed to you. He's capable of playing in the majors now, but isn't guaranteed to be without his struggles, which is exactly where he is in real life. Betancourt has not played a major league game, and is currently in AA. Be thankful he is as high as he is. He has no purpose having major league ratings at this point. 5. meh. Pokey Reese isn't even the team's starting SS. A guy they claimed off waivers less than a week ago is. Shows you something about how much Pokey has been able to do. He probably doesn't deserve anything above a 45 in contact. There's a reason he hasn't hit above .225 in 2 years. 6. makes little difference, so go for it. 7. Moyer should make 75% of his current salary, just like all the other players in the game do. His real life salary in 2004 was 7 million. So adjust it approprietly. 8. Rafael Soriano has only started 8 games in the majors, and none since 02, so he definitely shouldn't have starters endurance. He's pitched 56 innings over the last 2 seasons in 46 games. He's probably fine with his current endurance as its perfect for a middle reliever. Given all the injuries he's had recently, be thankful he still has some potential in him. On top of that, he should have his injury rating changed to prone. In 2004 he missed over a month with an abdominal injury, had tommy john surgery in august, and is on the 60 day DL at the moment i believe. I think that qualifies as good cause for a prone injury rating. 9. Reed is the starting centerfielder. Not an MVP candidate. Don't be greedy. He has to develop somewhere. Again, it can't be handed to you.

Wow, you must really want to piss him off to actually look that stuff up and spend the time to write a response that was as long as his original post.

as for Kansas City though:
Only thing i can really see if Jeremy Affeldt's endurance. He was a starter for part of the year last season until Mike MacDougal got hurt, and he was switched to the closer. He started 8 games last year, and 18 the year before. He should at least be capable of pitching 5 or so innings. Probably an endurance of about 50.
