meh. its a hell of a lot to give up, but with that contract, peavy is a hell of a player. not to mention, even if caddy can't re-sign him, he'll franchise him for an easy spec. i'd pass

I'm pretty sure the Yanks are going with Crow, IIRC. Everything you trade to Arizona could get him the 1st pick. I wouldn't say no to the 2nd pick and the 1st round pick of you next year, seeing is it will probably be a top 10.

There is also the fact of a bunch of players he's getting being able to be traded for the 1st round pick. You could still get a great offensive player in Castor Botts.

This is tough.
Peavy is god, but I'm thinking this is a little overboard.
Its fine with Peavy and Burnett plus all the picks and cash.
But those 3 specs push it overboard.
