Specs are crap dressed up with high ratings for the most part. (Think of a poo with a top hat for reference)
That leaves the picks and Burnett who will likely decline rapidly soon for a top 5 pitcher.
Pass.

Yeah, that's what I meant.
And those specs aren't really all that great. Pearce sucks, Antonio could be good though.

I don't think I'm going to move any of my picks. I think he meant throwing in a guy and trading up from #2 to #1. True.

Yeah, I had no problem giving up Herring and Pearce, but I'm gonna miss Antonio.

Pass, because he's throwing away all of his future even though losing the division this year is unavoidable.

Pass, because he's throwing away all of his future even though losing the division this year is unavoidable. You do realize part of my motive in these trades is that you don't get shit from the comp, right?

I mean the picks and stuff too. This pretty much guarantees that, baring any boosts, I am not losing anything worth a damn, and I also have insurance next year, as my pick is gone.

Well, that's if you think those picks will be low enough not be above 4.0. Of course, the threat of me being able to take your prospect in order to force you to run the team George Steinbrenner-style minus the money may be worth it.

he didn't trade the picks because of the comp threat, he traded them because tits wasn't going to let him low ball on peavy and they were the only things of value that caddy had
