Shannon Stewart is 38, retiring, and he didn't take a hit.
And i'm just pointing out the fact that everyone I have takes hits.
Like all of my prospects and all good/young players on my MLB roster.

I remember when a former St. Louis GM offered me Poo for Barton...
Funny stuff.

Good series Washington, with the series going to 7 games. That starting pitching was just too good.

*gasp*
The National League MVP Award goes to Daric Barton this year. He had an extraordinary season as well! His season features a batting average of .292 (159 hits in 544 AB), 25 doubles, 2 triples and 53 homeruns. Barton collected 137 RBI and 117 runs as well. He's 1st in the National League in RBIs and 1st in homeruns! Barton wins the award for the 2nd time in his 6-year career.
I guess this means it's Kyser's turn to come up big...

Probably, since the pattern appears to be Kyser-Barton-Kyser-Barton. And in each season, one of them always turns up a big insane month. Congrats to Beane.

psh, there is no Kyser vs. Barton. The last time there was even an argument was about midway through last year.
It's been unanimous one way or the other ever since. <_<

This season, Barton blew Kyser away. And Packersfans, no one will win the NL MVP until Kyser or Barton both die or get a career ender. (God forbid)

Thanks to everyone who congratulated me.
Also, thanks to dankbud for being a terrific owner. This was my second league and the one before it and ones after it don't compare to this one.

Congrats and whatnot. It takes a hell of a year for an NL team to win it all... I know, I've lost twice.

Well, considering the WS record is tied 4-4 between the AL and the NL, I'd say it's not all that hard...
It's actually harder for the AL, methinks, considering there's only been one AL champion to win the WS besides Tampa Bay.
