chicago's probably making this trade to get out of wright's contract. its not too bad, but apparently its one he can't afford. his broadcasting revenue did go down, and his attendance is pretty low (compared to last year). there has to be a reason a first place team would trade wright.

i don't care what he offered you. you don't count as anything. what i care about is what is in front of me. i see a 30 year old with a 5+ mil salary going for a prospect who isn't hitting the majors right away. That says salary dump to me.
