seriously. nothing changed at all. all you did was clarify how it gets paid. not any kind of pre-requisite for stealing a player. if you changed it to something like a team without a first can't steal, then that would be something of significance, and with that being the decision, caddy wouldn't be allowed to steal at all. you couldn't rescind steal attempts in the past, but now he's being allowed to start over when nothing changed for him at all? he wasn't going to give up a first round pick this year when he put a steal bid on williams. he isn't going to now either with his one on sheets. there is no reason why he should even be able to switch from one to the next.

caddy found a loophole in thesystem that wasn't supposed to be there. it is not like this thing is perfect yet. he bid without knowing he was giving up his first next year. adjusting the rules to fix the loophole and then forcing caddy to keep the bid that he might not have made due to the new rule isn't fair to him.
just be happy someone made a bid and quit bitching every time something doesnt go your way.

Is this 100% up-to-date for this season?

I haven't decided whether I'll want to make a HR/Pennebaker rule, where the team actually needs to have money available for an extension to franchise someone. I'll probably lean towards no for now.
Edit: Yeah, since Baltimore has a GM now, I'll let Pennebaker be franchised.
