Holy God, what an amazing movie... Probably the best I've seen all year.

I hate Superman, so I won't be seeing it. Heard it was very good, though.

Everyone seems to hate Superman... it's weird. I love him, though.

I'm not a fan of Superman, but the movie was tight as shit.

Not a Superman fan. Batman all the way. One friend said it rocked, the other said it sucked.

While I agree with the "Batman all the way" comment, I still love Superman. Not sure why, I just always have. The new movie really took the character to a new level, though, and I loved it. Seeing the "perfect superhero" getting the hell beaten out of him was pretty neat, too. <_<
He's still below Spider-man, Wolverine, and a few others by a bit, though.

Superman is far from a perfect hero.

batman fucking dominates never been huge into superman Agree'd. Still, go see the movie. You might like it. I really like the guy they cast as Superman. I think it was best that they went with a nobody. I saw a bit of Superman 3 this afternoon, and he looks a hell of a lot like the Christopher Reeves Superman.

I watched I and II this morning in preparation... <_<
III and IV are a blight upon the industry.

Honestly, I've never watched the old Superman movies. I have a hard time watching movies that are older than me, I just don't like the way they look. There are some exceptions though, I enjoy some of the old Westerns. I really can't watch movies that are black and white, unless of course it's Clerks.

Or Sin City... although that does have a bit of color...
It's kind of hard to watch the old Superman movies without snickering at the special effects, though... especially knowing that they were, at one point, groundbreaking.

And I loved Routh as Superman/Clark. Honestly, I thought he was pretty much perfect. He really seemed like someone that has been in the business for a long time.

And I loved Routh as Superman/Clark. Honestly, I thought he was pretty much perfect. He really seemed like someone that has been in the business for a long time. What I liked most about him being Superman is that since I've never seen him before, I don't have any preconceptions about him. Like if you put Ben Afflack as Superman, I'd think it was Ben Afflack playing Superman. Even if Ben Afflack did a good job, I'd still not like it because I'm not a big fan of Ben Afflack.
