I'll take The Wall over Tommy any day of the week.

Anything by The Who is usually very good.
Ugh...The Wall...I seem to dislike that album with every passing year. Its too Roger Waters influenced for my liking. This is the album where he ousted Richard Wright. Too many filler songs too.

It's hard for me to dislike any album that has Run Like Hell, Comfortably Numb, Another Brick, and The Trial. And I don't really consider the other songs filler, just music used to provide transition between the themes of the opera. Plus it came together as an actual opera a lot better than Tommy, based on the movies (I've seen both).

You listed the only songs I really enjoy on the album, Run Like Hell, Comfortably Numb, and The Trial. (Hey You and Young Lust are pretty good too). But I find myself always enjoying Tommy then The Wall. The songs are just funner to sing along to, and to just...chill out to.
Besides, The Wall isn't even close to being the best Pink Floyd album.

I would actually rank Atom Heart Mother and Meddle above The Wall.
