There were other cities that were affected by Hurricane Katrina. Some were, you know hit directly dead on. They don't have houses any more and such. I'm pretty sure those places actually exist, like Gulfport and Biloxi, Mississippi. Can you send reporters down there the world can see that New Orleans wasn't the only place affected? I mean, those people are actually going to shelters and their houses are still standing. Something that isn't going on in Mississippi. Kthxbai

I seriously doubt that they would be reading this, but if by some miracle they happen upon it, more power to ya.

other places suffered tons of damage, but how many other places are 1. completely flooded and unihabitable 2. still deteriorating due to the flooding, disease, etc 3. contain nearly as many people now, or before the storm 4. have nearly as many people in need of food/water/supplies/care.

I'm not saying New Orleans isn't anything. Its a fucking catastrophe. But I'm seeing very little of the other states, where the eye actually made landfall and flattened houses.

you're completely wrong on number 3 and 4. the populations of some of those towns (before the storm) didn't even compare to the amount of people still in new orleans, let alone still being treated in new orleans.

No, but New Orleans is now being fully evacuated. Gulfport and Biloxi haven't been. There are people injured or by now, dead, stuck under collapsed houses.

You mentioned Biloxi, and it's not like it's contributed anything more important than that movie...

Well...uh...it wasn't random, because it pertained to Biloxi. It was just...silly. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

Idk, I mean the majority of the coverage is definitely on New Orleans, but I've still heard a lot about those other places. Many of them aren't still flooded though.

Yeah, when you're above sea level, everything tends to drain away.
