ok... I relented and picked up OOTP a few days ago.
I'm through the third season with the Blue Jays and seem to have finally turned the corner.
I had an injury to my #1 starter, which forced me to throw a big time prospect into the big leagues. Through 6 games, he is 6-1 with an ERA under 3.
Next start - career ending injury. GAH!

That's nothing compared to what I went through with Toronto. Milton Bradley and Alexis Rios had career enders in consecutive sims, and McGowan, League, and Banks all died talent-wise on me.
Can't complain now, eh?

People dying in solo leagues aren't anything compared to people dying in internet leagues.

Joe nathan died in month one of my first (and only) solo league.
I said fuck it and changed it to a month long injury.

where did you download a roster update anyway? I'm using the made up rosters.
I guess I COULD wait for this league's roster file.
