Eye is possibly the hardest talent to judge the importance of. Its basic function is walks drawn, obp, etc. Some love it, some could care less. But it has the power to change an entire player's stats. It follows the same basic principals of the other stats: 0-30 - really bad 31-50 - not so good 51-65 - average 66-80 - pretty good 80+ - teh awesome Quick example of what a really poor eye can do to someone: www.dankootp.com/p1770.htmlHe's had pretty much the same ratings all three full seasons. And as you can see, in two of them he horribly underperformed. It's not a guaranteed thing, but in general the worse a player's eye is the more prone he is to slumps, and the harder it is for him to break out of them.

you can't expect a guy with shit for contact to become god because he has a high eye...it just means he'll be more consistent and MIGHT put up slightly better numbers.
