CIN is getting too much, Cabs isn't worth two 5.0 specs IMO. Leftwich and Diaz are worthless btw Leftwich is TWENTY. He has SIX YEARS.

I don't think he's exactly hurting for money or cap room.

Apparently Phoenix. And note that you guys are judging whether or not the value of the trade is fair, not whether or not Florida should be making it.

I think the trade is fair enough, but I have no idea why Florida would want to do it. I guess they're pretty serious about competing this year, not building for the future. The Reds definetly get the better end of the deal, with 3 picks in the top 10. I say a reluctant "pass".

i'm saying it now. Leftwich is not developing. the 1 control isn't going anywhere, and the other numbers are just so low, i don't think he's getting anywhere. and i should know about this, because i've traded so many guys in the same boat. a brief sampling if i may. www.dankootp.com/p3102.htmlwww.dankootp.com/p1552.htmlwww.dankootp.com/p2816.htmlwww.dankootp.com/p2662.htmlTraded Butler at 21 (gained a few power points, and a couple contact points), Lin at 24 (although, he developed a few points), Campbell at 23 (never developed and had a couple hits afterwards), and Lubanski at 20 (gained a few contact points, not much else). Just because they are young doesn't mean they'll still develop. If their numbers start out low, they may stay low.

florida wants to compete and can afford miggy (who is a premier player). fair enough and even more so since people have argued that both sides have an advantage.
