Maybe somebody could help me out, but how exactly do you open this in your game? I've downloaded rosters before, but they all seemed to be in a different format.

Here's how I do it:
Unzip it, make a new league, and restore the league using said Unzipped roster.

here's the easy way to do it (and this one is in english) based on how i'm going to assume he uploaded the file.
i'm going to assume its just a folder with no file extension. it may be a zipped folder. here's what to do.
step 1: unzip/unrar the folder/file
step 2: now you should have a folder. click on it.
if there is one folder inside that has a name that seems similar to a league kind of thing (dankfile, mlb2004, dank, etc), click on that. if you see a bunch of files with no recognizable extension (it might be .dat for all i know. regardless, they most likely won't have a real icon), then everything is unzipped. you want to go back to that folder (where you were before clicking on it and seeing the files/folders normally within a league file) and add .lg to the end of it.
if the folder you're left with after unzipping has nothing inside it but the folders/files of a normal league file (such as almanac, league news box, whatever), then re-name that folder with a .lg at the end of it.
the reason it doesn't work is because the folder isn't a "league" folder. it needs the .lg ending on it. and it needs to be in the ootp 6.12/6.5 (or 2006, if you're using that game) directory. For 2006, i believe it goes in the "saves" folder

Copy the link, and just add ".zip" to the end.
