In HBs, Magglio took 2 power hits in a month. Even with the insanely slow aging of that league.

yeah but hes gotta be like 33ish in that league right? Its a little more weird with madson, but whenever people are specs it seems like they're always capable of taking hits; danny haren went 18-6 3.3 ERA and he still took a hit at the end of the season.

madsen did get a season ending injury in that game. that is hte only thing that could have caused such a huge drop. but even then it is that common to see a talent drop coincide with a major injury.

Didn't see he got injured. That still fucking sucks, he goes from being my ace to not even being #5 worthy.

something weird I hadn't noticed until now is that carlos beltran batted a putrid .217 this year. Seems fishy.

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ARE THE CHAMPIONS....OF THE WOOORRRLLLLLD.
etc etc.
The Los Angeles Angels of Anehiem would like to Congratulate everyone on their wonderful year.
We would also like to congratulate Vladimir Gurerro on his Regular season AND World Series MVP award (look at the box scores, you'll agree). The former must have been a very close vote, and we extnd our condolences to David Ortiz, as well as a diet book so he can play defense, as we feel that his D is what put Vlad over the top.
Steve Finley also celebrated in the only way he knew how: By taking a ratings hit. He will be sent a ring, as he had heart, but the rest of his body kind of imploded or something.
LAAoA in '06!
