I just found out that several of my favorite wrestling stars are no longer with the WWE. I have only caught a handful of matches in the past year.
Why did Stacy Keibler and Chris Jericho get released? And did Christian bolt to the NWATNA after his contract expired or was he released?
Wasn't surprised to see Rhyno and Tajiri gone, they were never used right anyway. Too bad to see Tajiri go back to Japan though - he was one of my favorites.

I've watched wrestling since I was like 4, but one time I forgot to watch RAW during the summer and missed the whole thing with the undertaker and the ministry and all of that.
Anyways, just wanted to throw that out there.

I used to love wrestling. First was WCW in the mid-late 90s, and then WWE around 2002-2003. But then I stopped caring, and the only reason I know whats going on in wrestling is Dave, Packfan, and my little brother.

Okay I'm a smark so I can answer these pretty easily 1. Stacy Keibler's contract is up this month, and word is she will not resign because of her newfound success outside of wrestling. She's pursuing an acting career. 2. Chris Jericho wanted time off to also pursue acting and focus on his band Fozzy. 3. Christian wanted time off from WWE's rigorous schedule to do acting as well, and so he went to TNA so that he could have an easier schedule while focusing on other interests. 4. Rhyno was fired because of a tantrum he threw at a post WM21 banquet, and even though WWE offered him a spot in the new ECW he declined and has pretty much burned his bridge due to scathing promos. 5. Tajiri needed a break from the schedule, left the company on good terms, and has a job waiting for him if he ever decides to return.

how come hulk hogan just can't stay away this randy orton feud is going to be so sad. you know since hogan has full creative control, odds are he won't job, but if he does, just and how come Ric Flair can not step into a wrestling ring anymore without ending up with half his blood on the floor outside the ring?

I play a wrestling sim quite a bit, and was looking for some obscure pics for the game when I stumbled across WWE's recently released section on obsessedwithwrestling.com - more of a casual fan with the WWE, becoming more interested in the independents as of late (although I never really get much chance to watch outside of occasional net video highlights) On a side note, if you ever stumble across a picture of Simon Sanders, Sherry Shock, or Scott Kougar - hook me up.

And what's the deal with orton? You can't disrespect Hogan like that.

csale, is this wrestling sim EWR by chance? Yep. I'm currently running off of incredibly old updates though (the old ravex ones). Will probably download some newer stats, but I almost have my Stampede Wrestling to National - so I find it hard to switch. BTW Dave - almost 100% Canadian roster. I'm too cheap to buy TEW... maybe one day soon.

ewr is like crack, i swear on my life. my rosters arent that old, evolution era, (and im copping out and running the wwe >_>) but there is at least one newer update - problem for me is that i dont want to lose how some of my wrestlers have progressed so fuck it.

Only problem about running the WWE is that you have nowhere to go... you start at 100% global. Unless you plan on starting your own promotion after you've put the time in there - at least you will move on with some pretty damn good talent.
This is probably my 7th or 8th go around for me with this game - I play it like crazy for a couple months, get bored, leave it for a couple months, restart because I don't want to continue with the same rosters after I've left all my planning for so long.
The good thing about the roster updates is that it is basically like playing a new game. Most of the usual guys I hire are crap in the following update, and I'm introduced to a ton of other wrestlers. For example, Bobby (Blaster) Lashley is currently at 25 over and has crappy stats in the version I'm using right now.
What a great game though. Hey Dave... you try TEW?
