man i have friends who are better technical guitar players than fucking hendrix
just about any metal band ever rapes the asshole of all those 70s rock bands in terms of technicality
this topic reeks of close-minded bitches who've never played a guitar and think it's cool to like old music just because it's old
you can all suck my fucking cock
*crotch chop*

Jimmy Page is still a better guitarist than 99% of all modern dudes.

Jimmy Page is very good, but a teeny bit overrated. I think my favorite member of Zeppelin is John Bonham....he's a beast
and Dave, just because some people like older music and you don't, doesn't mean they only like it to be cool

Yeah I mean Zeppelin did steal at least the concepts for about half of their songs from old black dudes so I think they're kinda overrated but I still like them. And Page is still nuts.

and Dave, just because some people like older music and you don't, doesn't mean they only like it to be cool By the same token, just because you like it, doesn't make it better. As for Page, he fucking dominates but I wouldn't say he comes close to beating 99%. And I find it ironic that the guy who fucking beats off to Hendrix is calling Page overrated. *crotch chop*

well there are certain guys who are better technically. But Page was also an excellent musician and song writer. So compared to some guys who just go insane on the guitar (Malmsteen comes to mind), Page is a little more impressive in my opinion. But that's on a bigger level. As a guitar player, he's still incredibly good but you're right there are still some current guys who could probably match or outdo him.

The Doors blow big time. I dislike people who listen to it because its simply "old". And what does technicality have anything to do with it? Simple songs sometimes make for great songs. You don't need fucking lightning speed accuracy solos to be any good.

this topic is lame and is now about pudding. hey netty what's the difference between pudding and tapioca? a very good question. depending on how you look at it, there may be no difference at all. tapioca is for the most part a type of pudding. therefore, it fits into the broader category. however, more often than not, when people say 'pudding' they think of the chocolate variety (and i can't blame them), so people see them as different. while i prefer the chocolate variety over other puddings, i am more than willing to allow the discussion of my favorite pudding, as well as a variety of others, including a variety of flavors based off chocolate pudding, bread, tapioca, and other.
