I originally signed these guys to to extensions a month ago for the ownerless teams, when I saw that Baltimore, Tampa Bay, and Boston didn't have owners and some good FA were going to be on the market. Since they do now, and have locked up some key free agents, I'll take away some extensions I signed.
Nick Swisher - OAK Carlos Quentin - PIT Alvin Florian - DET

If you are going to do crap like that then we might as well contract 6 teams. You are pretty much ruining any shot of them getting GMs.

I was going to let Pennebaker, Santana, and Young walk. So this just changes the FA that I wouldn't sign to extensions. Ruining any shot of them getting gms? They'll get better draft picks, have more money to spend, and its not like these teams would be able to compete during the life of the contracts (Swisher's 3 year deal in which he's 38 at the end, and Quentin and Florian's 2 year deals).

Draft picks haven't done shit for me :/
Every single player i've drafted in the top 10 or 5 hasn't developed one single bit except for Caruthers, and he might take a few hits next year anyways.
